Position description  

We are a company of top engineers, designers, project managers, and more working from different countries, including Ukraine, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Austria, etc.  

As a Head of HR, you will be a valuable member of the management team. The main goal of the role is to create an effective HR structure matching the needs of an IT Services Company that is forecasting 50% YOY growth.  

Responsibilities  

You will initially report to the CEO.  

You will be responsible for the following targets and tasks:  

  • Maintain HR strategy (vision) for 1-2 years based on company growth plans  
  • Create, implement, maintain the Hire to Retire framework in the company that includes:   
    • Employees onboarding   
    • Competency Management  
    • Performance Management  
    • Compensation Management  
    • Career Map   
    • ESAT & Engagement  
    • Retention process   
    • Offboarding process  
  • Setup people analytics to satisfy the company’s current needs that includes: 
    • Organizational growth rate 
    • Attrition and retention rates 
    • ESAT 
    • Voluntary turnover reasons 
    • and the other demographic reports as needed 
  • HR Team management:  
    • Create a high-performing HR team  
    • Define HR metrics and reporting  
    • Create HR department compensation and performance plans  
    • Control the HR team targets execution  
    • Develop, motivate, and train the HR team  
  • Perform the function HR BP for the management team:   
    • Being a coach for the management team in people management  
    • Reinforce the company’s culture and values to each employee through the management team 
    • Guiding and supporting managers with creating IDPs for their team members 
    • Acting as a mediator: Creates sustained solutions to individual employee challenges 
  • Define and approve with the CEO and CFO an HR budget   

Requirements  

  • 5+ years’ experience as the Head of HR or similar position, preferably in IT service companies.  
  • Proven experience in creating an effective HR structure assuring the company’s growth.  
  • Proven experience in the selection and implementation of the HR management system.  
  • Proven experience in performance and compensation management.  
  • Leadership experience with responsibility for business results in a fast-paced, multi-function environment.  
  • A knack for conveying complex information and recommendations in a clear, logical, understandable manner to the leadership team.  
  • Must be a high-integrity team player with the flexibility to meet the demands of changing business priorities.  
  • Ability to leverage data to perform root cause analysis and address the source of issues.  
  • Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to influence and execute effectively in a cross-functional remote environment.  
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
