Challenge

Simultaneous development of the solutions to multiple target users: insurers and brokers, employers, and their clients and employees, respectively. Besides, a new platform was aimed to cut the costs and connect all the stakeholders in one place.

To create an online user-friendly solution for insurers and brokers in order to manage insurance programs as well as to build a centralized spot for employers to manage their employee benefits and a self-service channel for the employees.

Our customers got a solution that connects all target users in a centralized place and meets their needs. BenefitNet helps insurers, brokers, and employers administer their employee benefits, automate the workflow related to census management, claims management, invoicing and premiums, analytics.

  • Our business analysts provided in-depth research of the business needs and planned what functionalities the product required. After that, we were able to make an estimation for the final product.
    The main task is to specify the requirements of the future solution. Clients may know what they want but it requires significant skills and knowledge to define the needful things and avoid irrelevant ones.

  • Both sides have signed a SRS documentation for each iteration. This document was a basis for a legal agreement.
    The process of software development is built with agile approach. Our SDLC is always agile and is divided into the milestones that last 4 weeks. So, the customer was able to monitor each stage of the development.

  • The Minimum Viable Product stage requires having enough features to capture feedback that will drive the integration of new functionality through the “build-measure-learn” approach.
    So, after the specification and extracting the requirements, we defined all the steps the potential customer would take while using our product. After that, we developed a list of specific features for each stage to plan the product.
