Mib Enterprises LLC partnered with us to design and develop a web-based lead generation and CRM platform for insurance brokers serving construction contractors. The client aims to support small and mid-sized construction and logistics businesses by offering accessible, reliable insurance solutions and equipping brokers with digital tools to enhance efficiency and client service.
Client information
The client provides insurance primarily to general contractors in New York through a broker-driven model. They serve small to mid-sized businesses and plan to expand nationally. To support this growth, they are developing a subscription-based SaaS CRM for brokers that includes lead management, policy tracking, and communication features. They also plan to add trucking insurance within the construction sector. Their customers, mainly small and mid-sized agencies, are seeking more effective tools, as most still rely on manual processes or generic CRMs. Industries such as construction and trucking require specialized workflows, and this platform addresses them. The increasing adoption of digital technologies makes this a good time for launch.
Business challenge
The key challenges included outdated tools and manual processes, the lack of a CRM tailored to small brokers, and geographic limitations in New York and nearby areas, which restricted growth. Expansion efforts were complicated by compliance requirements and the need to scale. Additionally, retention was at risk due to a lack of digital touchpoints, and lead data from public sources remained incomplete.
Solution delivered
This web-based lead generation platform is designed for insurance brokers serving construction contractors, with an initial focus on General Liability Insurance and future expansion into Workers’ Comp and other commercial lines. The platform scrapes public data from sources such as government websites to identify construction companies and track insurance renewal dates. Users can filter leads by location, type of work, and expiration window, and generate downloadable lists in Excel or PDF format. The solution operates as a SaaS model, ensuring data ownership remains with the provider until full payment is received. CRM features, including notes, call status, autodialing, and email campaigns, are integrated to streamline broker operations.
