DICEUS CEO Illia Pinchuk joined David Carothers on the Killing Commercial Insurance podcast to discuss where technology is changing captive insurance and where it still isn’t.

The conversation covered how the captive market is shifting on several fronts:  

• Captive administration is moving from spreadsheets to more structured systems.  
• Policy, claims, billing, and reporting workflows are becoming more connected rather than separate, manual processes.  
• Captive owners are gaining clearer visibility into their programs through dedicated portals rather than waiting for periodic updates.  
• Basic digitalization is opening the door to AI-supported analysis and forecasting, though most of the market has not yet reached that stage.  

Illia also spoke about DICEUS’s work with captive managers, captive owners, MGAs, brokers, TPAs, and other insurance organizations, and why a solid technology foundation matters as the captive market continues to grow.
